Agria Group Holding to acquire sunflower oil producer Kehlibar

Agria Group Holding (A72 BU) to acquire sunflower oil producer Kehlibar, the company announced in a statement to the stock exchange. The acquisition is to be finalized in August 2016. No details on the acquisition price were announced.

The deal is part of Agria’s investment plan to increase its agricultural potential and further diversifying its operations. Kehlibar is specialized in the processing and storage of grain, seeds and other commodities and as well as in sunflower refined oil production. In FY2014, it reported BGN 33.2m of revenues, up 20.8% y/y, and BGN 1.7m of net profit, up 4.8x y/y.
